Dstruktiv (Team XeDev) released a new version of QuickBoot (an application that builds “short cut” LIVE containers that will allow you to launch applications directly from NXE):

Iso2God is a tool used to convert an Xbox 360 and Xbox 1 ISO images into Games on Demand containers, removing the need for a DVD drive in your 360.

This release adds support for thumbnail extraction from an Xbox1 ISO’s default.xbe. If the XBE has provided a thumbnail for savegames this will be used for preference. If the save thumbnail isn’t present then the title thumbnail will be used instead.

There is currently an issue with certain games where it’s not possible to convert the thumbnails from XPR->DDS->PNG due to the data being in a non-standard DDS format. If anybody has a detailed specification for the XPR format used in the $$XSIMAGE/$$XTIMAGE sections of an XBE, feel free to get in touch.

Any bugs that crop up, please leave a reply here rather than sending a PM. If you could state exactly what you did when the bug happened and exactly what I2G said in it’s error messages, that would be a great help.

If your virus scanner reports a virus/trojan in XexTool this is a false positive! If in doubt download XexTool from Xbins, but all I2G releases are checked using Avast Professional with the latest definitions, so this is not a fault with I2G itself.

Rab released GOD2XB1, so Xbox 1 GOD support is now possible:

This trivial tool will make these modifications to the god package until the new iso2god.
All it does is change that one byte and then rehash the file for you (simplifying these 2 steps):
- Open the CON stub and change the byte at offset 0×346 from 0×70 to 0×50.
- Calculate the SHA-1 hash from offset 0×344 to 0xAFFF (you should be hashing 0xACBC bytes of data) and write the hash value at offset 0x32C.
