Hey there today when i was looking at the xecutor forums i saw something very interesting that took my attention . I guy from russia has manage to hack the new xbox 360 250g s model ! Look’s little to good huh?

Team Xecuter have been working closely with Team Jungle & C4E for several weeks now on the new Xbox 360 250GB Model (some call it 360 S or 360 Slim). We are pleased to officially announce that the team has successfully patched the DVD Rom to be able to play backups.

This is the first successful step and there is much work still to be done for the general public’s consumption.

We love it when something like this gets released, all the idiots come out of the woodwork craving for a bit of the spotlight. The console scene never changes does it…….

It seems a new dash is on its way that will stop the ixtreme-lite touch firmwares.The news comes from a french source and is said to result in an instant ban. *Update* We now have a translation: “It simply says that the new dashboard update will be able to send DVD Drive information to Microsoft. So you’ll get banned with this update and a LT firmware.”

The Xbox 360 Slim which was announced and released during this year’s E3 might already be having problems.Images have been discovered on a Forum showing an Xbox 360 Slim with the “Red Dot of Death”- It’s the same as the Red Ring of Death- The Forum, NeoGaf has not confirmed whether or not the images are 100% real, but the images posted show one of the Xbox 360 Slim with the RDOD, and another image showing the error message on the Dashboard.

Well, none of this will come as a big surprise here, but it’s always nice to hear it straight from an official source. Microsoft has confirmed that a $199 version of new Xbox 360 will be coming in the fall toreplace the now-$149 Arcade, which is no longer in production. In addition, the company’s also spilled a few more beans – Kinect will be available as a bundle with the new Xbox 360, and though there isn’t any official pricing information on that one just yet, we’ve seen some telltale evidence on that front which would lead us to believe it’ll run somewhere in the neighborhood of $399 for an Elite and $299 for the Arcade. So now you know. ( The info says nothing about if we will get a 120gb hdd or the 250gb hdd .)

It will not take loong before it’s cracked open and then we really see what’s under that hood. About dvd fw and so ever we don’t know yet. And for JTAG let’s hope they have made some mistakes ! But i don’t think so :/

Hey– you know Microsoft’s Project Natal? Well we’ve just gotten an up close look at what appears to be the retail version (though it’s clearly marked a developer unit). We couldn’t storm the stage while Walt and Kara (and her son!) were showing it off, but no one seemed to mind that we took a load of these shots for your perusal. It looks like they already have a date for Metal Gear Solid:Rising, but if you click on the Canadian site it shows a date of 01/10/2010, just stumbled on this, also kind of weird that its going for 70 bucks.
